Božični gumbki / Christmas buttons

Že nekaj časa so se v moji škatli za ustvarjanje skrivali čudoviti gumbki, ki so čakali na pravo priložnost da pokukajo na plano. In priložnost se je pokazala ob misli, da bi na voščilnico dodala malo drugačne božične okraske. Tako so gumbki okrasili malo drugačno božično/novoletno voščilnico. (Žal so slike malo slabše kvalitete - kartica se vidi, barve niso ravno taprave :))

For quite some time I've had some beautiful buttons hiding around in my creating box and they were waiting for the right moment to show off :) That moment came, when I thought of a bit different Christmas/new year's card, for which the buttons were a match made in heaven ;) (I'm sorry for a bit worse photo quality - the card can be seen ok, but the colours are not as they should be.)

Na belo osnovo sem nalepila rdeč papir s pikicami. Nato sem izrezala malo večji bel kvadratek in še en manjši zelen kvadratek s pikicami, na katerega sem prilepila gumbke, ki "visijo" na trakcih iz rdeče prejice. Ob lepljenju gumbkov sem bila zelo vesela sekundnega lepila, ki je hitro in kvalitetno opravilo svoje delo (da le-ti niso pobegnili na kak drug konec voščilnice ;) ) Sledi fotografija gumbkov malo pobliže.

I glued a red dotted paper on a white card base. Then I cut a bigger white square and smaller dotted green square, on which I later glued buttons, that "hang" on strips from red yarn. While gluing buttons I was very glad to have super glue, which eased my work very much, because the buttons were glued quickly and solidly (they didn't escape to some other part of the card ;) ). On lower photo you can take a closer look of the buttons.
